"David thought, 'I'll show kindness to Nahash's son Hanun, because his father showed kindness to me.' So David sent a delegation to express his sympathy to Hanun concerning his father. When David’s envoys came to Hanun in the land of the Ammonites to express sympathy to him, the Ammonite commanders said to Hanun, 'Do you think David is honoring your father by sending envoys to you to express sympathy? Haven’t his envoys come to you only to explore and spy out the country and overthrow it?' So Hanun seized David’s envoys, shaved them, cut off their garments at the buttocks, and sent them away."
People may sometimes misunderstand you, but God always understands you. No matter how disturbing and disappointing they may be, keep being yourself and do what you stand for. Keep blessing and God will keep blessing you.

"When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and the storm continued raging, we finally gave up all hope of being saved." Paul stood up and said: "Last night, an angel of God stood beside me and said, Don't be afraid, Paul." So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me."
In the darkest moments of life, when everything seems not working to expectation, when all hope keep fading out, have faith in God, trust Him, and depend on Him. Never give up! God is present to help you prevail, and you'll prevail.

It does not matter what people are saying about you. Your arrival will break barriers, your miracle will break protocols, your testimony shall forever be resounding. You shall be the most preferred anywhere you go, for your shame, you shall receive double glory. The Lord will qualify you for the best!

POWER OF INTERCESSION
Job 42:10
"After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before."
God cares for those who care for others. We need not be at ease before we pray for the peace, progress and prosperity of others. Our pain shouldn't prevent us from carrying others to God in prayer. God will eventually intervene in the affairs of the intercessor. Let's keep praying for others, even if they seem better than us. God bless you.

Because of humility and repentance, some people received pardon instead of punishment. God favours the humble. Your life of humility will draw God's favour upon you.

Nehemiah 4:1
"Now, when Sanballant heard that we were building the wall, he was angry and greatly enraged, and he jeered at the Jews."
Many a time, the moment you take a step to do something good for God, yourself, and sometimes for your country, people around will ridicule you so that out of threat and discouragement, you give up. May it not be your portion.

Every good thing has opposition, and anything that does not attract opposers is not good enough.
However, with prayer, faith, proper planning, and determination, we can overcome every opposition in our lives.

Many will try to kill your vision through destructive criticism but be the Nehemiahs of your time and stay focused.
If you won't build, don't break what others are building. This morning, my word of admonishment is to acknowledge that the Sanballats are all over but stay focused. Some may be relatives, spouses, church members, Pastors, and prayer partners.
May the Lord help you to overcome any opposition that may come your way.
You can build a strong and happy life. Be determined, for those who mocked you yesterday and today will seek more of you tomorrow. I see a turnaround in your life!

RECOGNISE THE WORTH OF JESUS CHRIST
Matt. 15:21-22
Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon possession.”
Even in the worst situation, the first and best thing to do is to recognise the worth of Jesus Christ, and render worship to Him before your request. Worship him even for the miracle you have not yet seen. That is faith. Stop worrying and start worshipping. He'll take care of your every need.

Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
Our earthly circumstances at times create serious doubts about what we've heard concerning the Lord - His availability, ability, and assistance in times of dire need. Stop doubting, for God is still God. He'll respond in a timely manner. Keep trusting.

It is not about where you are, or what the need is. It's all about where the source is. If it is the LORD, relax and be rest assured. He can and will do it. Fear not.

They can hate you, hurt you, or hoot at you, but can't halt you if God is helping you. Don't fear or focus on disgrace when the God of grace is your help. It is the grace of God that cancels disgrace.

People make mistakes, gain experience, learn from them and it all counts as part of life lessons. Whenever you are feeling sad, anticipate feeling joyful again. This takes the sting out of your sorrow because you know it is only temporary. Sadness tends to duplicate itself along the timeline—convincing you that you’ll always be unhappy. But this is a lie! No one can take this away from you. Your path through this world has many ups and downs. Your down times are difficult, but they serve an important purpose. Pain and struggle help you change and grow stronger when you trust in God in the midst of adversity.
Your troubles are comparable to a woman enduring labor pains. Her suffering is very real, and she may wonder how much longer she can bear the pain. However, this arduous struggle produces a wonderful result—a newborn baby. While you labor through your earthly struggles, keep your eyes on the promised reward of boundless joy at the end. The best way to be happy is to turn the negatives into positives, don't let anyone steal your joy, and be thankful for what you have.
God will never leave you nor forsake you.

The reason to rejoice is that, despite the chaos and crises of the present moment, Christ is closer and does reign. The darkest moments offer a greater platform for the light of victory to glow the brightest. In crises, comport yourself and confide in Christ. Our God reigns. Rejoice.

“Because the patriarchs were jealous of Joseph, they sold him as a slave into Egypt. But God was with him and rescued him from all his troubles. He gave Joseph wisdom and enabled him to gain the goodwill of Pharaoh king of Egypt. So Pharaoh made him ruler over Egypt and all his palace."
Jealousy, hatred and lies of people landed Joseph into jail without any crime, but God's presence protected him and pulled out of prison into prominence without any credentials. You may be surrounded by jealous and bitter people. No matter what they do, the LORD who loves and lives with you will lift you to where He meant you to be. Don't fight them, follow Him closely. May the Lord God answer and meet you at the point of need. May he supply your greatest need and turn your deserts into well-watered fertile grounds. May you abound in God's favour.

THE LORD IS IN CHARGE
Matt.27:26
"Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified."
Another ordeal of Jesus is when the one who could secure a pardon sanctioned his punishment. The one to discharge him to freedom detained him for no fault.
Some people may, sometimes, intentionally inflict bitter pain on others who are innocent for no reason in this life.
A lot of people may be hurting silently and unnoticed.
May the Lord expose such wicked ones around us and execute a speedy judgement on them.
The Lord is in charge. It shall surely happen.

GOD IS PREPARING YOU FOR BIG THINGS
1 Samuel 17:37
The LORD who delivered me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." Saul said to David, "Go, and the LORD be with you."
Being a shepherd didn't earn David much respect, but it prepared him to fight Goliath and eventually became King of Isreal. God uses present circumstances to prepare us for the future. Don't give up.
GOD HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD
John 16:33
"I've told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you'll have trouble. But take heart! I've overcome the world."
The absence of trouble or troublous people don't guarantee peace. Peace is guaranteed when Jesus is present. Don't focus on those who have purposed in their hearts to disturb you. Rather, focus on Jesus who has purposed to deliver you always. God bless you. Fear not.

The conflicts in life could be fierce but fear not, for you'll never fail. Difficulties don't mean defeat, unless you give up. With the help of Jehovah, you'll outlast every enemy and survive every encounter. Jehovah will definitely raise your hand in triumph over the enemy. You're a conquerer. Have faith in God.

"I'm convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Regardless of how bad the circumstances might be, and how hopeless and helpless you may feel, you still matter to the God of love. Since His love is intact and the relationship is intact, your life is intact. No mountain shall stand between you and God.
